  5. In the dialog box that appears, enter ‘Spool’ and press the enter key.
  6. Choose the printer folden now and launch it.
  7. Empty this folder by deleting all the temporary and unwanted files.

  9.  From your HP printer now print the network configuration page to proceed further.
  10. You will observe your Hp printer’s IP address from this network configuration page i.e. 192.168.1.12 or 10.0.0.21.
  11. Now again go to the start menu, from there go to the settings menu and open the ‘Devices and Printers’ option and click on the Add printer tab.
  12. Then, choose the option, ‘The printer I want isn’t listed.
  13. Then click on the option, ‘Add a printer using TCP or IP address.
  14. After that enter the IP address in the respective box and hit on the next tab.
  15. After this, the Windows will automatically add your printer from the network and then install the printer drivers to your system automatically.
  16. This ensures your HP printer is installed on the Windows operating system using the IP address.
  17. Now, launch the HP Smart app and see your HP printer is showing online.
  18. After completing these troubleshooting guidelines, you will never come across the offline status issue again.
